I AM COMPELLED TO DO THIS WORK...
because this was me not too long ago. I took a work sabbatical at age 48 to write a book because I was afraid I’d never do it if I waited until I retired. The road I traveled was rocky, with many detours. Even with taking such a huge step, it still took me over a year to get ready while I worked through my own writing self-study program. I started my first book just weeks shy of turning 50. I believed at the start of my sabbatical that I had to go all in to be a writer because I didn’t know (or believe) there was another way. But I could have short-cut my experience at multiple junctures if I knew then what I know now. I want to share what I’ve learned with other women; so, they can thrive, not just survive, writing their first book.
