~It’s never too late to start writing a book.
~It will never be the perfect time to start writing a book.
~You don’t need to get ready to start; you just need to start with the right toolkit.
~Kicking the can down the road leaves self-fulfillment and achieving your inner purpose to chance.
~The time to put yourself, your creative passion, and your soul-satisfaction back on your to-do list is now, not someday.
~Slow and steady wins the race.
~Doubling down on your dreams is energizing and contagious.
~You can write that book you’ve been dreaming about for as long as you can remember and enjoy yourself while you’re doing it.
high achieving women who have been dreaming of writing a book for decades but have been too busy with life to start or stick with it, are afraid that too much time has passed, and are worried they may never achieve their writing dream - and by extension, their creative passion and soul-satisfaction.
I AM COMPELLED TO DO THIS WORK...
because this was me not too long ago. I took a work sabbatical at age 48 to write a book because I was afraid I’d never do it if I waited until I retired. The road I traveled was rocky, with many detours. Even with taking such a huge step, it still took me over a year to get ready while I worked through my own writing self-study program. I started my first book just weeks shy of turning 50. I believed at the start of my sabbatical that I had to go all in to be a writer because I didn’t know (or believe) there was another way. But I could have short-cut my experience at multiple junctures if I knew then what I know now. I want to share what I’ve learned with other women; so, they can thrive, not just survive, writing their first book.
